I like cars (and my truck) as well.
Currently I drive a 1988 Chevy Silverado 1500 SWB fleetside.
I have been 'working' on it for the past year or so.
Present work includes:
The Edge 'Matrix' 17x8 Wheels with Hankook 275/60R17 Tires
Goodmark Ram Air Hood
Generic Smoothie Paintable front bumper
Fresh new Chrome grille with Chrome metal emblem
Clearer head lights, running light lenses, and corner lenses
Gaylord bed cover
Custom Rollpan from CanDo Specialties with Toyota Supra taillights
LightNBolts license plate bolt and illuminator combo
StreetSmart Rear View Mirrors
Shaved factory tail lights, tailgate handle, badges, and trim
White gauge Overlags
Triple gauge pod pillar
Fresh new headliner
Grey 1994ish center console
Grant GT steering wheel
Pioneer DEH-P740MP CD/MP3 Head Unit
Precision Power PCX-2200 Amplifier
Lightning Audio 2 Farad Capacitor
Two 12" Infinity Perfect Subwoofers
Custom Sealed Speaker Box
Four Infinity Kappa Perfect 2-way Plates all around
Directed Hornet Alarm System
New GM 350CI/5.7L TBI engine replaced at 251,356 miles. Currently 299,000 miles on the body, roughly 48,000 on the engine.
Cold Air Intake with K&N Filter
Flowmaster Dual Exhaust 'Sport Style'
I am now virtually to the point of just getting it painted. I have thrown around the ideas of:
Black: too many body dings
Blue: been there
Silver: does it play well with chrome?
The only other things I plan on modifying are the suspension to clean up empty space between the tires and fenders and window tinting.
Possible engine performance may happen later on.
I also want to run a blow through between my cab and bed for my speaker box. I just don't have a good instruction list.. yet.

As for something a bit faster, I've been trying to get hold of my friend's 1971 Mach1 Mustang with a 460 big block.
